ShopSmart-AI vs ReviewMeta
ShopSmart-AI is an A–F trust grade for a whole listing, not a re-scored star rating. ReviewMeta and ShopSmart-AI both start from the same suspicion: the star rating is not the whole story. They answer it differently.

The short version
What ReviewMeta did
ReviewMeta took an Amazon listing, ran a set of published tests over its reviews, discounted the ones that failed, and showed you an adjusted rating next to the original. Its appeal was transparency: you could read which tests a listing failed and decide for yourself.
Where it stops
ReviewMeta is a review-filtering tool. It tells you how much of a star rating it trusts. It does not tell you anything about who is selling the item, whether the brand exists anywhere outside that listing, or whether the item is likely a counterfeit — which is where a lot of bad Amazon purchases actually come from.
What ShopSmart-AI adds
ShopSmart-AI runs review-authenticity checks and then keeps going: it searches the open web for what people say about the seller and the brand, looks for counterfeit indicators on the listing, and returns three A–F grades — product, seller, brand — with the named red and green flags behind each. Same starting suspicion, wider evidence.

Questions people actually ask
What is the difference between ReviewMeta and ShopSmart-AI?
ReviewMeta re-scores a star rating by discounting reviews that fail its tests. ShopSmart-AI does review-authenticity checks too, and then also grades the seller and the brand using reputation evidence from the open web, returning an A–F grade for each with the flags behind it.
Does ShopSmart-AI show its reasoning like ReviewMeta did?
Yes. Every grade comes with the specific red and green flags that produced it, and the full factor list is published on the methodology page, so you can disagree with the grade.
Is ShopSmart-AI free?
Yes to start — 50 scan credits a month, about 25 Amazon scans, with no credit card. Paid plans are $5 and $10 a month for more credits and more flag detail.
